The yacht and boat rental season in Friesland runs from early spring to late fall. During this period, the yacht rental company has its hands full: welcoming guests, cleaning boats, performing maintenance, and troubleshooting problems.
This work isn’t limited to office hours. Action may be needed even late in the evening. Even after the last guests of the year have left, the work is far from over. Boats are taken out of the water to repair scratches and wear and tear from the season, while maintenance work is carried out. All curtains and upholstery are also washed.
With 26 ships, that quickly adds up to about 350 to 450 curtains, all of which must be taken down and neatly folded. It’s a time-consuming task that requires a great deal of care and precision.
