A Warm and Friendly Atmosphere in the Small Towns

We went sailing for the first time in 2006. The weather was fantastic for that time of year. But we never would have dared to dream that April 2007 would bring such gorgeous weather. Together with a couple we’re friends with, we enjoyed the scenery, the water, and the friendly atmosphere in the towns we visited.

The Weerribben nature reserve, in particular, is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. We spent one night there, but we didn’t go to sleep until the barbecue was out and the rosé had flowed freely. We woke up in the morning with a refreshing dip and then headed off to the next picturesque town. Our yacht was spacious enough inside for two couples, and the girls were able to enjoy sunbathing on the foredeck. We’d like to thank the owner of Wetterwille Yacht Charter for the boating tips. We’ll be back in April 2008.
